Once the powerhouse of the industrial revolution and textile capital of the world, Bradford has moved on to become a vibrant and cosmopolitan city. The cities industrial heritage is evident in the striking architecture and listed buildings found throughout the city. Little Germany, the wool merchants quarter and the Wool Exchange are worth a visit.

The city also has a great selection of museums and attractions, including the impressive National Media Museum, complete with IMAX cinema, Bradford Industrial Museum and Cartwright Hall Art Gallery located in Lister Park, recently voted one of Britain's Best Parks.

Throughout the year there are festivals and events for everyone.  Three Film Festivals, the Bradford Youth Festival, the Bradford Classic and one of the largest Melas in Europe, are some of the highlights.
