The Blazing Donkey offers a selection of 22 bedrooms situated throughout the retreat. Opt for the snug ground-floor rooms in the converted stables or indulge in a romantic suite within the main house. Regardless of your chosen accommodation for your Kent hotel getaway, all rooms come equipped with LED TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The en-suites feature baths with integrated power showers, and complimentary fibre broadband is also available.

Courtyard Stable - Double or Twin
Stable accommodation is all ground floor and features private parking directly outside the room leaving only a very short walk with your luggage.

All double/twin deluxe rooms have contract sealy divans and pocket sprung mattresses.

The room can be set up as a twin room with two single beds or a Double room with a Super King Double Bed.

All rooms have LED TV's and tea, coffee making facilities are offered. The en-suites have baths with integral power showers. Fibre broadband is complimentary.

Main House - Superior Four Poster Bridal Suite
This room is entered via its own private hallway/stairs.

The room enjoys views across the garden from its prominent first floor position. A superking size Elizabethan reproduction four poster bed takes pride of place in the centre of the room. Two extra large windows on each side provide great light and extra deep pile carpet provides an extra level of comfort under foot.

Tea & coffee making facilities are provided and bedside tables in the same style as the bed sit either side of the four poster. A wardrobe and dresser complete the pretty suite of reproduction furniture in this room. In room entertainment is a very large screen LED TV with full freeview channels. By arrangement a dining table and chairs can be put into this room for guests if required. The bathroom adjoins the main bedroom with a glazed entrance.

The bathroom features a two metre superkingsize bath with its own TV and dramatic walls and ceiling mirrored throughout. The bathroom is very spacious and has easy seating in it along with the sanitary equipment.

Main House - Junior Suite
This beautiful suite is served by its own hallway which links to the bedroom and separately to the bathroom.

The suite is 1st floor and has a large floor area carpeted throughout. A pretty, comfy bed takes pride of place in the centre of the room and has two bedside cabinets each with reading lights on either side.

The panoramic view from this first floor room is across the immaculately tended gardens. Tea and coffee facilities, two ways chairs, a desk and 48 inch large flat screen TV are all featured, The bed is kingsize and has a pocket sprung mattress for extra comfort.

Main House - Standard Double with Shower Ensuite
This double economy room is located on the first floor of the main house and overlooks surrounding countryside from an aspect window. The floor plan on this fully carpeted room is slightly less than the deluxe doubles. The room is served by its own hallway and has a walk-in shower en-suite, flat LCD TV, tea and coffee making families and free WIFI.

Courtyard Stable - Junior Family Suite
The family comfort room is the largest of any of the rooms at the Blazing Donkey with a large floor area.

The room is carpeted throughout and offers bath and integral power shower. A flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free wireless fibre broadband are available for guests. Sufficient towling is provided for all guests staying in this room.

This room has its own independent entrance with private courtyard parking space available right outside the room. This ground floor room has view across the surrounding countryside from two windows.

Courtyard Stable - Accessible Double Room
This accessible room is accessed by a step-free wheelchair friendly ramp and has wider doorways, raised WC and grab/convenience rails around the bath and WC. We recommend this room for wheelchair users or guests that might benefit from assistance rails in the bathroom.

It really is all about the food at the Blazing Donkey. A lot of time is spent trying to get the best out of the ingredients. For the head chef and his team, it’s all about creating dishes that put a smile on your face served by a team with a smile on theirs! Unfussy, clean & simple dishes all prepared entirely from fresh local produce is what you may expect. In addition to baking all own breads, making own jams and ice creams, the kitchen team source virtually all their ingredients locally.

The menu contains winning local British dishes from fish and seafood from the Kent coast to Kent Lamb and locally soucced rib-eye steak and pork belly.

The wine list complements the food perfectly and consist of a range of beautiful red, whie and rose dinner accompaniments in addition to after dinner tipples.

BAR & PUB
The pub and bar at the Blazing Donkey is a characterful space for you to enjoy a drink before you make your way to dine. In the Winter enjoy the fireplaces and in the Summer the gardens and terrace are perfect for alfresco dining or drinking.
