The Boat Hotel offers warm hospitality and 22 comfortable, individually decorated bedrooms ensuring you a relaxing stay.
Some of the upgraded rooms are ideal for families as they can sleep up to a maximum of 2 adults and 3 children with all the amenities you might need including cots, bottle warmers, high chairs.
CLASSIC ROOMS (Standard) - these rooms have smaller bathrooms or shower rooms and restricted views. Classic rooms are located across various floors of the hotel, with views towards the back over the village as well as the side across the gardens.
ESTATE ROOMS (Superior Room)- Rising above our Classic bedrooms are the Estate guestrooms. Enjoy a more enhanced stay experience within an Estate guestroom, as a premium product it offers more privacy, space and comfort. There's a high-speed Internet connection and LCD TV. Beyond, the bathroom boasts a deep soak roll top bath as well as separate shower.
DELUXE KING ROOMS - (Executive) These luxury rooms at the Boat Hotel offers contemporary luxury with a modern design theme to create real boudoirs of luxury for enjoyment. With King bed and a large ensuite with deep soak bathtub, rainfall shower and freestanding sink. The Deluxe King rooms are individually decorated and occupy great positions within the building; all offer views across the glen towards the mountains.
DELUXE KING GARDEN ROOMS - (Executive Room) Sumptuous warmth and graceful accents distinguish this meticulously appointed room overlooking the gardens down to the steam railway. All have French doors with access to a private deck and all bathrooms are fitted with rain showers, freestanding sinks and deep soak bathtubs. There's also a 32-inch LCD TV in the room.

The village of Boat Of Garten is known as the "Osprey Village" due to when ospreys returned to Scotland in the 1950s the largest number of them returned to this village. There is now a splendid visitor centre for people to find out more about ospreys and other wildlife of the area. The championship Boat of Garten Golf course is next to the hotel and permits can be obtained for salmon fishing on the mighty River Spey

Boat of Garten is easily accessible from the main A9 road, with nearby connections for bus, rail and air travel. The village lies six miles north east of Aviemore, between the B970 and the A95.
Take the A9 and then exit at the Grantown on Spey / Carrbridge junction. Follow the signs for Boat of Garten / Strathspey Steam Railway.
