The Skeabost House Hotel is set in its own extensive grounds, just 10 minutes from Portree and enjoys stunning views across Loch Snizort. Its location makes it an ideal base for exploring the islands many visitor attractions. In addition, the hotel has a choice of onsite activities including a 9 hole, 18 tee, parkland golf course and Salmon or Trout Fishing on the River Snizort, which flows through the hotel grounds. The Ghillie Danny is on hand to provide tuition and advice on fishing the River Snizort and local lochs.

Directions to Skeabost House Hotel in Skeabost Bridge on the Isle of Skye

From the Skye Bridge, travel to Portree. Once on the outskirts of the village of Portree, take the Dunvegan Road A 850 and travel about seven miles to Skeabost, remembering to fork left at the junction for Dunvegan/Uig. Skeabost is two miles from this junction, situated on the right hand side of the road beside the sea.

Skeabost House holds a challenging 9 hole, 18 tee golf course. With cliff top views and the stunning river Snizort ambling though, the golf course presents all that is great about golf. You will have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views and intake the pure clear air, the ideal retreat from the bustle of daily life.

Skeabost House Hotel is great for Fishing Breaks as it owns the fishing rights to the first 8 miles of the River Snizort, a typical Highland spate river. The river challenges every angler and its Gillie is on hand to guide you.
