Ayr with its sea front and leafy suburbs is situated 36 miles south of Glasgow and Classic Britain has a selection of places to stay. It  is a popular seaside resort. Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns, was born in Alloway, on the outskirts of the town, visitors can make a trip to his birthplace, Burns Cottage & Heritage Park, and also the Tam O'Shanter Experience.
