From the western end of the Campsie Fells, all roads collect at the small village of Drymen which sits peacefully in the hills near Loch Lomand. You can rent bikes to follow the Loch Lomand cycleway, walking is also popular in Drymen as it's the perfect base for exploring the Loch. Drymen also has many shops including an outdoors shop ideally for walkers.
