The magical world of Alton Towers is the UK's largest and most exciting theme park, and Classic has the Kegworth Whitehouse Hotel nearby, where children can stay for free.  Drayton Manor Theme Park is a family favourite and has some of the biggest and scariest rides anywhere. The SnowDome has the very best action on real snow, or by contrast you can enjoy a subtropical aquapark at Waterworld. The dramatic uplands and wooded valleys of the Peak District are perfect for a gentle stroll - or a tough adventure. On Cannock Chase, wild deer descended from Norman herds still roam free, and there’s lots to do in the National Forest. Trentham is Britain’s most exciting garden restoration, with a host of activities including boat trips and a shopping village.

Shop on the sunny side of the street in Stoke-on-Trent, where the world-famous names of Wedgwood, Moorcroft and Spode have inspired a unique ceramic heritage … then roll up your sleeves and create your own masterpiece! There are ancient castles and historic houses to explore, with a mediaeval cathedral at Lichfield. Visit the complete working historic estate of Shugborough, or experience the elegance of Weston Park.
