Take Pitlochry exit from A9. Hotel is south of the town centre, on the main road in an out of town. Signs on road 150 yards before entrance to hotel, from each direction.

Aberdour Castle c/o Historic Scotland, Aberdour - A 14th century castle built by the Douglas Family. The gallery gives an idea of how it was furnished at the time.

The Scottish Wool Centre,Aberfoyle - A hilarious but informative live show of “The Story of Scottish Wool”. Regular Dog and Duck demonstrations. Also watch traditional spinners in action.

Stirling Castle, Stirling - Considered to be the greatest of all Scotland’s Castles with outstanding architecture including the recently restored Great Hall and Gatehouse.

Bannockburn Heritage Centre, Stirling - Heritage centre with displays relating to the battle in 1314. Also a striking statue of Robert The Bruce outside by the borestone.

Dunblane Cathedral, Dunblane - One of Scotland’s noblest medieval churches. The lower part of the tower is Romanesque whereas the larger part of the building is of the 13th Century.
