Kildrummy Castle, Alford - The Castle was the stronghold of the Earls of Mar and HQ for organising the 1715 Jacobite. Scotland’s most complete 13th century castle.

Balmoral Castle, Ballater - Highland holiday home of HM The Queen. Local Exhibitions, garden views, country walks and souvenir shops available. Open from April to July.

Crathes Castle and Garden, Banchory - Superb castle with original features including historic painted ceilings, set in extensive landscaped gardens. Exhibitions also on show.
