We had a fantastic night at the Westerwood hotel and spa. The room was airy, clean and very comfortable. The facilities were fantastic and the food very good. The staff very attentive and happy to chat. We had our dog with us, and would definitely return. It was a night away for my husbands birthday and we also both had a treatment at the spa. Can't recommend the hotel highly enough, looking forward to our next visit. The only issue I found was no socket close enough to the mirror, the hairdryer cord was too small to reach were the mirror is situated.

Had a relaxing break with good food and lovely service from the staff. Room was lovely and big with a huge bathroom. Hotel was spotless. Only 2 negatives were the price of drinks and maybe the place could do with some upgrades.

Wonderful relaxing stay at the Westerwood. Very warm welcome on arrival. Bottle of Prosecco in room, dinner in the evening and breakfast next morning were all excellent. Nice to spend some time in pool area. Unfortunately we didn't book a spa treatment so will definitely be returning for one in the near future

Place was clean and tidy. The pool area could be doing with an upgrade, jacuzzi was cold and there were children/swimming lessons in the pool too so was not much of a “spa” feeling. Were not noted of this before booking. The dinner was lovely but the only issue is that when bringing a replacement drink, the empty glasses were left on the table (small table of 2) which then litters the table. Everything else was fine.

We had a lovely stay. Facilties were great as was the room. Very clean and comfortable. Staf polite. In particular the restaurant was lovely. We had a nice meal in the evening followed by a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Lots available and didn’t need to wait for anything to be replenished (often a complaint of mine at buffets).

Had a wonderful day and night with a Rassoul spa treatment. Rooms lack mirrors near sockets for women to be able to do their hair and makeup, other than than that beds are the most comfortable I've had in a hotel.

Hotel was spotless, staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our room was also spotless and well maintained and the bed very comfortable. The food was amazing at both dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed using the spa facilities which were also spotless and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Lovely hotel, good food and staff were very nice and accommodating. My only comment would be that the Spa ran out of towels and after a 30 minute wait we decided to go home without showering properly after the mud treatment.

Lovely stay! I stayed with my partner in 1 of the Queen rooms which was beautiful. Big shower, separate bath, small hallway entering into the large bedroom, big tv with freeview channels, comfy big bed and don’t even have to worry if you’ve forgot your charging plug as they’ve got USB ports right next to the beds! You get free access to the pool, hot tub, heated beds, sauna and steam room which were all lovely. We had breakfast included too which was really nice with plenty of variety. We found the restaurant menu a bit lacking in choices so went elsewhere but other than that it was a really nice relaxing stay.

Staff were lovely, but they were let down badly by the decor needs a major overhaul. Sad looking.The room was OK, and the bedroom was pleasant. Food was a surprise after being disappointed with surroundings.meal was lovely.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was lovely the food was lovely, although I did wonder if there was another menu for more traditional food me being a little fussy. But I was out for steak treat for my partners birthday. We had a lovely plate of tablet, a birthday card and two beers each also a bottle of water each in fridge and a warm cookie upon arrival. Breakfast was also amazing then we enjoyed use of pool, what a wonderful time we had together.. I would definately come back. Thank you so much.

Found this venue very cold in the dining room and lounge area although the food was good it got cold very quickly, the spa treatment was good however my friends who were after us and had been booked in had to wait around for 20mins after their given time I had to go to reception to enquire where spa staff were no explanation was given we found out later that the venue were having their staff party that evening so unsure if this had any bearing on the situation

Once again had a great stay here arrived just after 3 got 4 cookies instead of the normal 2 was told kitchen had overbaked ?went to room requested a low floor which we got went for a swim then chilled a little before our dinner which again was lovely I love this hotel the only downside was like some other hotels is the price for a drink but won't stop us going back another great stay

Staff friendly and helpful when checking in. Room was clean and lovely bathroom, shower and separate bath. Pool lovely. Nice service and buffet breakfast plenty choice and dinner menu tasty. Staff where dog friendly, couldn't find any fault. Value for money.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and given an upgraded room with a bottle of chilled wine in it. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean and all staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and polite. We had an allowance which went towards our meal both nights (not including drinks), and this was more than ample to cover the food. The food that we chose was perfectly acceptable and we enjoyed it very much. Service on the first night was excellent, however, on the second night it was dreadful in the time that it was taking to get drinks and food to our table. We waited 20 minutes on being served a bottle of wine - not good, but not the end of the world! Don't let that stop booking this hotel, they were clearly just having an off night, short staffed or something. It represented great value and even although we were only an hour away from home, we felt that it was a nice wee break. Well done Westerwood staff.

Absolutely amazing stay. Spa treatment was great. Paid for early check in but room was not ready, ended up agreeing to a twin room to finally check in early but they deducted the early check in fee, so cannot really complain. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food is amazing!!

Lovely overnight stay at this hotel, the staff are friendly, cheery and very welcoming. The Hotel is a little tired in some areas but the service from staff make it an enjoyable experience
