Beautiful old hotel in Tongue with wonderful views. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. WiFi was good. Parking is available in a lot next to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Just stayed at the Tongue hotel as part of our NC500 trip (anti-clockwise). Fantastic stay in the most welcoming hotel. Great room (ours overlooked the castle in far distance (Which we visited…only a 25 min walk to the top of the castle) Great food in the recently updated restaurant and Green at selection of beers in the new bar (with great traditional bar maid who knew her stuff!) Lovely beer garden to watch all the passers by doing the same NC500. You will not be disappointed if you stop here!

beautiful stay at tongue hotel! the room was beautiful and very comfortable. staff were very friendly and accommodating. the food at the restaurant was lovely. definitely recommend staying here if you are after a quiet stay in tongue.
