Great stay here while cycling the NC500 with some friends. Hotel has fabulous views and a very welcoming central light lounge with leather sofas. Hosts chatty and friendly. Rooms well appointed. Good bar with top shelf of great bottles to try. Food was a set menu of 3 courses with some choice and optional cheese as extra. Food was excellent quality. Breakfast also good with usual Scottish full breakfast as well as other options.

Superb small hotel in fabulous scenery with excellent food. Cannot recommend it highly enough. The room was comfortable and clean with a view to die for. The food was superb and served by friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. It's out of the way but then that's one of the attractions of it.

Everything was just great, we loved it and will go back, great staff, room, breakfast and views, the weather was perfect too even 2 nights of Aurora too, brilliant. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, very homely feel.

We were greeted with a fabulous welcome and helped in with our bags. our room was beautiful and the setting looking across the water is amazing. The dinner we had was delicious as was the breakfast. The service was also first rate. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff, perfect location , room was flawless. Incredible views from room and eating / relaxing area Really is a gem of Scotland hotels this. So quiet and peaceful with only a few rooms Breakfast was great
