Captains' Rooms
Follow in the footsteps of the great travellers of the past and seek out one of these large well-appointed bedrooms. These rooms boast magnificent west facing views over Oban Bay to the Hebridean Island of Mull and the mountains of Morvern. (Upgrade supplement applies)
Ocean View Rooms
Premium Ocean View rooms guarantee uninterrupted west facing views as above with feature bed. All have a distinct character and are standard in size. Ideal for those special breaks away. (Upgrade supplement applies)
Standard Rooms
Most standard rooms are of a similar size and standard to Ocean View rooms but have a view to McCaig's Folly or the Soroba Hills. Some are more compact but have an Ocean View.
Two disabled rooms are also available.

Directions to the Caledonian Hotel, Oban
The Caledonian Hotel is situated in the town centre overlooking Oban Bay, immediately opposite the Rail and Ferry terminals and close to all facilities.
By Car
Coming from the South, you will travel on the A82 Glasgow to Fort William road to Tyndrum where you join the A85 to Oban.
Coming from the North via Fort William take the A82 and cross the Ballachulish Bridge, when you come to a roundabout take the left hand (Oban – A828) exit. Follow the road across the Connel Bridge and at the T-junction turn left for Oban.
By Train
First ScotRail runs twice daily. Trains leave from Queen Street Station in Glasgow.
By Coach
Citylink coaches stop directly outside the hotel and there are daily services from Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Dundee.
By Ferry
Ferries from Mull, Colonsay, the Western Isles and more sail and berth just beyond the front door!

The nearest Airports are Glasgow and Edinburgh.
