The Caledonian Hotel is Oban's landmark building. Originally built around 1882 the Caledonian Hotel is situated in the centre of Oban and rises from the water's edge overlooking the bustling fishing harbour. The historic Caledonian Hotel commands breathtaking views over the sheltered bay. This coastal hotel also offers views to the mountains and islands of Scotland's magnificent west coast.

This Oban Hotel has a selection of rooms to choose from most with views over Oban Bay, Isle of Mull and the Mountains of Movern.

The Restaurant Caledonian is a Victorian dining room, carefully restored with chandeliers and ornate plaster. Each day the chefs create a fine dining menu, which skilfully reflects the best of Scotland’s larder.
