BEDROOMS _ 7 / 10 SERVICE _ 9 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 19 Jun 2010 | Y Gall said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: It was lovely weekend weather and hotel. Very pleasant. The guy with suit (sorry dont know his name) obviously knows his job in the the restaurant and was very efficient, also behind the bar relaxed to talk to and when we checked out too. (jack of all trades) We were chargd an extra beer and large wine however on the bill but did not want to embarass ourselves by saying but a bit annoying!

BEDROOMS _ 10 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 7 / 10 STAYED _ 8 May 2010 | Theresa Ayton said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: We normally book the sister hotel but this was fully booked and always love it as it is very modern, so hotel this was our 2nd choice. At first we thought the hotel looked run down and in need of some work but soon realised that it just add to the character of the hotel. Staff we excellent and very friendly in both restuarant and bar. Could use some entertainment though. This break was for my husbands 50th and it was well worth it. Our bathroom had a roll top bath and fancy lighting in the ceiling. Very romantic. Can't wait to get back and this would be our 1st choice now. |

BEDROOMS _ 6 / 10 SERVICE _ 6 / 10 FOOD _ 5 / 10 STAYED _ 27 Jul 2009 | Joanne Brodie said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: Enjoyed our three day stay. Hotel staff very courteous. Hotel very tired looking but clean and comfortable. Meals were fine but could have done with a more varied menu (3 fish dishes). On the whole I personally believe there to be better deals around. Scenery in this area is what made the stay worthwhile - breathtaking. |

BEDROOMS _ 5 / 10 SERVICE _ 8 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 14 Jul 2009 | Alan Kelly said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: We found the service and food to be surprisingly good - having stayed there some years ago it has vastly improved. The bedroom (having been moved because the first room carpet was really dirty and the bed very small and not what we considered to be a superior room which we had paid for)was in keeping with the style of the hotel, although the matresses need to be replaced, it felt as though we were sleeping on the base. Otherwise we had a really enjoyable stay and would certainly consider re-visiting; the staff were very helpful and friendly. |

BEDROOMS _ 8 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 10 / 10 STAYED _ 25 Apr 2009 | GERALD WHITSON said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: Booked using an offer in Stirling Observer, for 2 nights BB&EM with £20.00 pp drink voucher but despite following instructions online using prom code the Hotel knew nothing about it, therefore would not honour, & when I phoned Classic Britain, I was told that I had not Booked correctly and if I E Mail with my Details said that they would take it up with the Hotel. As I had already spoken to the Hotel direct, I did not see the point in this- Felt let down by this |

BEDROOMS _ 8 / 10 SERVICE _ 6 / 10 FOOD _ 10 / 10 STAYED _ 14 Mar 2008 | A guest said the following about Ballachulish Hotel: The Ballachulish is located in a fabulous spot by Loch Linnhe. The food in the restaurant was excellent and was reasonable value. The residents lounges are comfortable and pleasant to use but a bit shabby. The service from the staff was not as good as in some establishments however it was perfectly adequate. The room was a little bit tired but the ensuite bathroom was very good. Overall the Ballachulish is a very nice place.
