From vantage points in the most historic parts of the hotel, these rooms enjoy stunning west facing, uninterrupted views across Loch Linnhe to Morvern, with the sun setting over the Loch for many months of the year. Other features include luxury bathrooms, a well stocked Highland Pantry and exclusive ‘Chieftain’ use of the Old Library.
Loch View Rooms - Guarantee a west or north facing view over Loch Linnhe and have a distinct Highland Character.
Superior Rooms - are similar to loch view rooms but may have a more restricted view.
Standard Rooms - provide great value for money and are smaller with restricted views.

This area is known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK. It has an abundance of things to see and do from walking, climbing and cycling to exploring ancient castles and popular visitor attractions. The Glencoe Visitor centre is one of the many popular attractions in this area offering visitors local history exhibitions, cafe,shop and scheduled guided walks. In the wintertime there is skiing at Glencoe 8 miles away and the Nevis Range 18 miles away.

The Ballachulish Hotel is just off the main A82 Glasgow to Fort William Road, situated 400yds from the Oban (A828) roundabout underneath the Bridge. Coming from Glasgow or Stirling you will pass by the village of Ballachulish and will come to a roundabout. Take the right hand (Oban) exit. If you cross the Ballachulish Bridge you’ve gone wrong!
If coming from the North you will pass over the Ballachulish Bridge then come to the same roundabout. Take the left hand (Oban) exit. If you reach the village of Ballachulish again you’ve taken the wrong exit. If you are travelling from Oban you will see the Bridge ahead of you and the hotel is right by the road
Approx a 2 hour drive from Glasgow and 2.5 hours from Edinburgh. 14 miles from Fort William and 30 miles from Oban
