The Cairn Lodge Hotel in Auchterarder is inspired by the opulence of its rich past as a baronial hunting lodge and has been transformed into the boutique hotel that stands before you today. Located in the heart of rural Perthshire allows for the Cairn Lodge to be a great choice when looking for a break to escape city life, but still be within easy each of Perth, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Choose to stay in one of the 14 bedrooms at the Cairn Lodge each of which have been individually designed and reimagined for the modern traveller. Ten bedrooms are located in the main hotel whilst four of the bedrooms are situated in the lodge next to the main hotel. Options are available from cosy singles to cosy doubles and deluxe rooms to signature rooms.

Enjoy a sumptuous meal in the Garden Room Restaurant located within the Cairn Lodge Hotel. The menu includes classic dishes, highlighting seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Guests are welcome to unwind in the bar with something from the extensive wine menu, a classic cocktail with a twist or simply a coffee and a catch up on the day.

The Cairn Lodge offers great late deals and special offers on short breaks throughout the year.

Directions to the Cairn Lodge in Auchterarder

TRAVELLING SOUTH (A9)

From Perth, follow the A9 south for 8 miles and turn onto the A824 Main Road for 5 miles through Auchterarder. At the junction of Orchil Road turn right into Tullibardine Road. The entrance to Cairn Lodge is immediately to your left.

TRAVELLING NORTH (A9)

From Stirling follow the M9 onto the A9 and continue for approximately 14miles taking the Auchterarder turn off. On your left you will see a sign for Auchterarder golf club, turn left onto Orchil Road which is brown signposted. In approximately 500 yards you will see the Cairn Lodge.

Perthshire has a rich heritage of castles, churches, battlefields and historic sites. Visit fairy-tale Blair Castle or Scone Palace, where Kings of Scots, including Robert the Bruce were crowned, many atop the fabled Stone of Destiny. Listen for the footsteps of ‘My Lady Greensleeves’, who is reputed to haunt Huntington Tower Castle, or visit the childhood home of the Queen Mother at Glamis Castle. Don’t miss the Queen’s View, across Loch Tummel to Schiehallion, or a chance to discover Scotland’s industrial heritage at Stanley Mills.
