Opus One - meaning 'First Work' or 'first masterpiece of a composer', is also the name of one of the world's finest wines, a Napa Valley wine from the joint partnership of Baron Phillippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi. The production of this wine is meticulous, and the New County Hotel is pleased to offer it as its signature wine.

The Head Chef, Ryan Young, is also meticulous, in his culinary skill, using only the best fresh local and seasonal produce, artfully presented, innovative and memorable.

Lunch is served in Opus One: Tuesday – Saturday 6:30 – 9:00

Dinner is served in Opus One: Tuesday – Saturday 6:30 – 9:00

Gavin’s Bistro at the New County Hotel offers a real gastro pub experience with a fine selection of drinks and with menu’s on blackboards around the bar offering a interesting and exciting choice of fresh and local produce.

Lunch is served in Gavin’s Bistro: Daily 12:00 – 2:00pm

Dinner is served in Gavin’s Bistro: Daily 5:30 – 9:00 pm

Please note that there is a dinner allowance of £22.50pp which can be used in either Gavin's Bistro or in the fine dining Opus One restaurant. Please note that if you want to dine in Opus One, early booking is recommended, as the restaurant is very popular with residents of the New County hotel and locals.

The New County Hotel is ideal for golfing breaks, country sports, activity and touring and sightseeing holidays due to Perth having great facilities right on its doorstep. The river Tay that runs through the city is ideal for fishing breaks and the estates near Cardney are great for shooting and stalking - these can be arranged by the New County Hotel along with many other activities. The New County hotel is also nearby to the famous Perth racecourse.
