From the moment you open the door, The Park’s quirky welcome is sure to spark your imagination. Peebles is a historic textiles town, and The Park tells the story of this heritage in its décor; that’s why you can discover lots of upcycled bits and bobs from the March Street Mills, as well as character packed spaces to enjoy the new bakery and butcher inspired menus. There’s even a vintage double decker bus outside, and a gallery showcasing local artwork that you can escape to.

The Park is home to 25 bedrooms too. All simple, yet comfy with new TV’s, beds and fresh linen as there’s nothing better than a good night’s sleep! A full Scottishl breakfast buffet is also included in the price you pay to stay.

Directions to Park Hotel in Peebles

From Edinburgh
Follow the A703 to Peebles and head straight on until you come to a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and The Park Hotel is on your left.

From Glasgow
Follow the A72 to Peebles and take a left at the first roundabout before heading straight in. The entrance to The Park Hotel will sit on your rights hand side.

From the South
Take the A696 out of Newcastle, to the Scottish Borders where the road will change to the A68. Continue through the towns of Jedburgh, St Boswells, Galashiels and Innerleithen. Once in Peebles, The Park Hotel is on the left, just after the roundabout.

Walking

The hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk from the centre of Peebles around 0.3 miles.

When adding children to the booking the rate quoted is based on 2 adults sharing a family room. Children's rate of £25 per child per night will be added to the booking and paid for at the hotel. Child prices include dinner allocation of £20 per child.

Plan a day trip to Edinburgh or the Scottish Borders or stay closer to home by popping into the bustling town of Peebles where food markets, delicatessens and the River Tweed await. If you’re looking for directions, or just a little bit more background information, let the friendly staff know and they will point you in the right direction.

Walking

Located in the centre of the Tweed Valley, Peebles is a great central location for Scottish walking holidays and for exploring the countryside by foot.

If you fancy a short stroll, why not head along to the Pirn Hill Fort Trail up to the summit of a 2,000 year old fort and take in the breath-taking views over the valley.

For the a leisurely stroll by the river Tweed, head along the Leithen Water Circuit or to Neidpath Castle.

For those looking for a longer walk, the Glentress circuit from Peebles takes you through Glentress forest where you can watch the mountain bikers on the bike trails. There is also a café and visitor centre if you fancy a bit to eat before heading back. In addition, Cademuir Hill Forts and the Janet’s Brae both offer great views over the valley.

For the more experienced climber, Broad Law, Pykestone Hill and Drumelzier Law and the Dun Rig horseshoe all offer extensive views over the Border countryside and are well worth the climb.
