I think the hotel could do with is a TV in the Bar. Also a few more activities for children would be good. Not put off and will be going back. |

Loved sitting on the couch next to the open log fire with a large glass of delicious red wine. The staff (a couple from New Zealand) were fantastic - friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. The whole place has a very laid back feel - perfect place to get away from it all. |

BEDROOMS _ 10 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 10 / 10 STAYED _ 10 Apr 2008 | A guest said the following about Weem Hotel: The hotel has a wonderful rural feel with open fires. The staff were all very helpful and the food was great. Defo stay there again, especailly if I can sit next to the open fire with a glass of red watching the snow fall! Only a short drive to Aberfeldy, about 1 mile. Rooms were good size with really good showers and flat screen TV's. Parking was ample. Loads of info in the hotel about things to do in the area, especially if your after some water action or hill activities.

BEDROOMS _ 9 / 10 SERVICE _ 9 / 10 FOOD _ 9 / 10 STAYED _ 2 Feb 2008 | A guest said the following about Weem Hotel: My wife and I have just returned from 3 nights at this hotel. We wanted a break just to relax. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.We stayed in room 12, which I think was recently refurbished. It was very nicely decorated to a good standard. Open views to the front of the hotel, overlooking the valley. The hotel itself is what I would describe as a good 'Inn' and it does everything very well under that category. Open fires, comfy seats and a couple of snugs, perfect for reading the paper or a book with a glass of wine or one of several local ales.We ate in the restaurant all 3 nights. The menu and wine list offered a good varied choice. The quality of food was excellent and I'd especially recommend the Beef Stroganoff, which was the best I've had in a very long time. Breakfasts were also generous and very tasty, notably the haggis. However, the one thing that really made our stay was the genuine hospitality and excellent service offered by all the staff. Everyone was brilliant and couldn't have done to make us feel welcome.I stay in a lot of hotels in an average year, both on business and for leisure. It was refreshing to find a hotel that still believes so strongly in good old fashioned service. Sadly quite a rare find in today's faceless hotel market dominated by the large chains that charge a premium for blandness all round.Overall, a definite thumbs up on all fronts. When we are next up in the area, we simply wouldn't contemplate staying anywhere else |

BEDROOMS _ 8 / 10 SERVICE _ 9 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 9 Nov 2007 | A guest said the following about Weem Hotel: On the occasion of our Golden Wedding Anniversary we virtually took over the hotel for the weekend! Our guests came from far and wide and unanimously agreed that the service was excellent, the accommodation clean and spacious, and the food freshly prepared and imaginative, Our male guests were particularly impressed with the FULL HIGHLAND breakfasts!! I wonder if General Wade himself fared as well nearly 300 years ago?We now use the hotel regularly, particularly for Sunday Lunch - the roast beef and Yorkshire puddings have no equal! Our grandchildren always look forward to eating at the Weem, nay, they insist! It is so nice to arrive and be met with a smile and friendly banter! |

BEDROOMS _ 10 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 10 / 10 STAYED _ 17 Sep 2007 | A guest said the following about Weem Hotel: We stayed for three nights in September with our collie dog. The first night was a bit odd as they had cheildh on so dinner was served in the breakfast room. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good and lots of locals seem to go there to eat. The vegetarian options on the menu were a bit limited but as soon as they found out I was vegetarian the chef offered to cook several different dishes especially for me which were delicious. It offers very good value for money with a dinner, bed and breakfast option. Our room was spotless and having our dog with us was not a bother to them. Lovely open fires in the evening. I would definately go back. |
