By Car
Exit the A1 onto the A184 towards Gateshead. Take the ramp to Redheugh Bridge Roundabout then take the 3rd exit onto Askew Road/A184. Turn left at Eastgate and follow signs for Gateshead Quays. Turn left at Mill Road and continue onto South Shore Road. Jurys Inn Newcastle Gateshead Quays is on the left on the Riverside
Public Transport
Newcastle National Express Station – 2.1 Miles (7 min drive) Turn right onto Churchill St. Follow signs for A/6082. Follow signs for A1. Once over the Redheugh Bridge stay in left lane and take the first exit to Askew Rd/A184. Continue along Askew road following all signs for Gateshead Quays. When on Hawks road turn left onto South Shore Road. Hotel located on the river front at the bottom of South Shore Road.
Haymarket Bus Station – 8 mins drive (2.1 Miles) From Haymarket go Northeast on Percy Street B1307 Continue to follow the B1307 onto John Dobson St. Take 2nd left onto Durrant Rd B1309. At New Bridge Street roundabout, take 3rd exit onto A167 (Gateshead) Merge onto A167(M). Continue onto city road A167. Turn left onto Church St. At Hillgate take a right turn. Continue onto South Shore road where the hotel is located on the river side.
From Newcastle Central Train Station 1.1 Mile (22 mins walking) Go East onto Neville Street. Turn left onto Westgate Road continue walking along Westgate Road then turn at Collingwood Street. Continue walking on Collingwood Street and then turn right at St Nicholas. Follow the signs to Quayside Continuing along Quayside to the Millennium Bridge. Cross over the Millennium Bridge and turn left. Walk along the river front in front of the BALTIC, Jurys Inn NewcastleGateshead Quays is just past the BALTIC.
