The Carnoustie Golf Hotel is situated adjacent to the 1st tee and on the 18th green of the Carnoustie Golf Links Championship Course.

The Championship 18-hole golf course is recognised as one of the top three courses in the country and hosted the 1999 and 2007 Open.

The Burnside Course also situated onsite, is widely considered to be of great charm and character, with many impressive short holes and the infamous 17th hole, considered one of the hardest par fours in golf.

The Buddon Links is an excellent example of links golf; it is guaranteed to test every golfer’s accuracy and control and is an ideal introduction to links golf prior to tackling the other more demanding courses here at Carnoustie.

Staying at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel will give you an opportunity to utilise the hotel's preferential tee times between April to October. Just contact the hotel if your booking is 12 weeks in advance of booking to check the availability and prices.

There are many attractions nearby, here are a few to have a look at;

Glamis Castle is Scotland's most spectacular castle, the ancestral family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother

Arbroath Abbey - Founded in 1178 for monks of the Tironensian order by King William the Lion, Arbroath Abbey is famous in Scottish history for its association with the Declaration of Arbroath, in which Scotland’s nobles swore their independence from England.

Discovery Point - Climb aboard Captain Scott's ship RRS Discovery where you will follow in the footsteps of him and his crew, see how they lived, and what they ate, and witness their hardships and their triumphs. It's a fascinating tale of one of the most heroic voyages of exploration ever undertaken.
