Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry is one of Pitlochry's oldest established hotels in fact the hotel has one guest who has been coming for over 50 years! The friendly efficient staff will ensure your time at the Acarsaid Hotel is relaxed, enjoyable and comfortable.

Each of the bedrooms at the Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry has: - Remote control TV - Refreshment Tray - En Suite bathroom - Great Views - Local Information folder - Deluxe Scottish toiletries - Hairdryer
Some rooms have shower, some have bath and some have both - if you have a preference, please say at the time of booking and we can request this with the hotel for you.
The Acarsaid Hotel truly believes that your bedroom should be a bit of a home from home and as such the bedrooms are welcoming and relaxing. Each bedroom has been individually decorated in a simple and tasteful way, mostly in a comtemporary style.
To keep rooms fresh, the entire hotel is non-smoking.
Ground floor rooms are available as well as single rooms (a rarity in Pitlochry) The hotel has no fully disabled rooms at the moment, but can give you advice on what can offered. Disabled rooms will be added as part of ongoing refurbishment from early 2010 onwards.
Superior Rooms are also available at an extra supplement. These rooms are Front Facing with lovely views from the Bay Windows. The Superior rooms are also slightly bigger than Standard rooms.
The Acarsaid Hotels restaurant mixes great local produce, with a great big dollop of international influence to deliver exciting and consistently, great quality cuisine to your table. Meat is supplied by the award winning butchers - MacDonald's of Pitlochry
The most popular delicacies at the Acarsaid hotel are - Their own recipe sausage, Home-made breakfast jams and marmalades and the Acarsaid Porridge Bar (crushed Tablet, Maple Syrup, Cream ) . Clare's (owner) Mum's recipe for Breakfast Pancakes served with Maple Syrup and crispy Bacon - their premium Scottish Ice Cream from the Cream O' Galloway, made with the very best Dumfries-shire Cream are another selection of popular dishes.
Guest to the hotel can also enjoy a Free Afternoon from 3pm - 5pm with complimentary tea/coffee and cakes.

If fine Malt Whisky gets your taste buds tingling then here is a wee bit of a local knowledge....within one hour's drive of Pitlochry, you can visit the OLDEST, SMALLEST AND HIGHEST distilleries in Scotland. Then sober up and within 2 hours drive there are a further 4 distilleries!
In Moulin, a wee village just outside Pitlochry, they brew their own Ale - the Acarsaid Hotel stocks a good range of the Moulin Ales for you to sample during your stay.
The wee bar opens from 12 noon daily for residents and diners, and stocks just about everything you could want.
The Acarsaid offers free transport to and from the theatre when staying at the hotel.
Directions to Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry
From the North Take the Pitlochry turning off the A9 and drive into the town. Carry on through the town, passed all the shops. You will see the Police Station on the left, you will the Acarsaid hotel 50m further on, located on the left
From the South Take the Pitlochry turning off the A9 and drive towards the town centre. After you pass Blair Atholl Distillery on the right you will come to a railway brige, which you drive under. As the road straightens out you will find the Acarsaid hotel located on the right.
From Braemar Follow the road all the way down to the centre of town to the T junction. At this junction turn left and follow the road through the town and you will find Acarsaid approx. 500m along on the left.
