The restaurant at the Acarsaid hotel in Pitlochry mixes great local produce, with a big dollop of international influence to deliver exciting and consistent top notch cuisine to your table. The chef sources out only the best local suppliers - the meat, for instance, is supplied by the award winning butchers - MacDonald's of Pitlochry.

Some rooms have shower, some have bath and some have both - if you have a preference, please say at the time of booking and we can request this with the hotel for you.
Ground floor rooms are available as well as single rooms (a rarity in Pitlochry). The Acarsaid Hotel has no fully disabled rooms at the moment, but can give you advice on what can be offered.
Disabled rooms will be added as part of ongoing refurbishment, and we will keep you up to date in this regard.
The Acarsaid Hotel no longer has Family or Triple Rooms available, however they can put z beds into some rooms to accommodate small children only. Please call Classic Britain for details.

The most popular delicacies at the Pitlochry Acarsaid hotel are - Their own recipe sausage, homemade breakfast jams and marmalades and the Acarsaid Porridge Bar (crushed Tablet, Maple Syrup, Cream). Another popular dish is Clare's (owner) Mum's recipe for Breakfast Pancakes served with Maple Syrup and crispy Bacon.

If fine Malt Whisky gets your taste buds tingling then here is a wee bit of a local knowledge.... within one hour's drive of Pitlochry, you can visit the OLDEST, SMALLEST AND HIGHEST distilleries in Scotland. Then sober up and within 2 hours drive there are a further 4 distilleries!
In Moulin, a wee village just outside Pitlochry, they brew their own Ale - the Acarsaid Hotel stocks a good range of the Moulin Ales for you to sample during your stay.
The Acarsaid Hotels wee bar opens from 12 noon daily for residents and diners, and stocks just about everything you could want.
The Acarsaid offers free transport to and from the theatre when staying at the hotel.

Directions to Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry
From the North: Take the Pitlochry turning off the A9 and head into the town. Carry on through the town, passed all the shops. You will see the Police Station on the left; the Acarsaid hotel is 50 metres further on, located on the left
From the South: Take the Pitlochry turn off on the A9 and drive towards the town centre. After you pass Blair Atholl Distillery on the right you will come to a railway bridge, which you drive under. As the road straightens out you will find the Acarsaid hotel located on the right.
Guests on Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis can dine from the Fixed Price menu, Pre Theatre Menu or can be offered an allowance of £19.00 per person for the Steakhouse Menu.
