Myself and a collegue have just spent 8 nights at the bruce on business, after reading a few reviews i must say travelling up we were a little concerned to what we may find, but we were highly pleased with our rooms very clean, comfortable & modern, the staff were fantastic very friendly and helpful, my flat screen tv did not work in my room on arrival but the manager was straight onto it and it was fixed immediately.Very impressed would definately stay again be it on business or pleasure and would recommend to anyone planning to go to scotland.

We attended a cousins wedding and stayed for one night. After a long journey we arrived early but this was not a problem. Our room was ready and the hotel were perfectly happy to let us check in. We'd booked a double room and as I'd booked online I was quoted the normal rate but the receptionist, without asking , reduced this as we were attending the wedding reception in the hotel.The reception was one of the best we've been to - the meal was excellent and the staff were unobtrusive and efficient. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.During the night there was quite alot of noise outside but this is located in a town centre and it was a hot night so we had to have the windows open. This was just a minor annoyance and didn't spoil our stay. We found this hotel good value for money, clean and comfortable

Very pleasant staff, with decent rooms... Staff seemed quite willing to be helpful, and cleaning people were excellent. Restaurant offers a great range of food, with staff whom appear to care.

The staff were efficient and friendly. I was most impressed that the hotel didn't charge any extra for my dog. The car park facility was good - they allowed me to leave the car there for a couple of hours even after I had checked out. I would return.

I recently attended a wedding at the Bruce Hotel and we booked an overnight stay. The food and service at the wedding was first class and we enjoyed a lovely day. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and we stayed to enjoy a lunch in the restaurant the following day as the food was very good value and of a high standard. I would recommend it in particular for its attentive staff and wondedrful food. I will definitely be returning with my family
