While hotel seemed a little dated I think you have to realistic in terms of price and it did provide value for money. Rooms were clean & pleasant and the staff were a plus for the hotel - friendly & helpful

There was no telephone in room, and unfortunately the TV picture was lost for 2 days of our stay,hence lower rating for room. The staff at the hotel were excellent especially Toms from Lithuania and Apple from Thailand, also the young lady from Limerick in Southern Ireland who served at the bar, unfortunately I have forgotten her name.

Arrived at hotel after 125 mile drive from Elgin, with a dog, to be told we were not booked in, and they had nothing. as no other hotels nearby took pets, we had to drive home. Weekend away ruined. Yet we had booking confirmation all correct. Staff hadnt a care in the world about us.

We have stayed at Dunollie many times over the years and as ever we have enjoyed our stay. The only negative comment we have is that the outside of the hotel is becoming very tired looking.

All round very good value. Staff very attentive and food good. Excellent bedroom with views across the harbour. Great hotel for dogs. All together a very enjoyable experience. Next time we go can you try to improve the weather although it did not detract from our enjoyment.

We are a couple who had never been to Skye at all and were driving te 207 miles to Portree, The rates avialble in Portree hotels for the Satruday night were all £130-£190 for a double room and this was almost having us rethink where we were going for the weekend until we realized Broadford was an option for staying. Mystified by the mixed reviews of this hotel on numerous websites - parking was wasy, on the main road, room sheets and towels were clean, self service continetnal and cooked breakfast was very good . The hotel bar is a public bar on the main street to the other side and this was busier than the hotel side, no nonsense with fire alarms (??) Probably do Skye again for a couple of nights and would be happy to stay here in future
