We had 2 rooms for 4 adults. 1 of the rooms had a shower that did not work at all over the 3 nights we stayed.This was a bit of an inconveniance obviously. The breakfeast menu had pastries on it but on request there never were any? The bar could have been open a bit later to have a drink when we returned from town. All in all a lovely hotel, with good food and an ideal location

Stayed here for two nights with some of my family. We had double, single and family room. We were all impressed and would describe the Imperial as clean, comfortable and cosy. Staff were all lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. The only problem I would imagine would be the stairs for older clients as there are no lifts.

Very nice hotel with polite staff and very clean.My one negative comment would be the bar, closing at 10 pm on the 2 nights i stayed there as i had to go out into town for a drink after my meal.

Booked for 2 nights, one BB only and one with Dinner. Room allocated was well furbished and had a loch view, with a decent sized bathroom although the space between the bed and the front window and between the bed and the desk were limited. The shower door came off the runner and the next day we were moved, and upgraded to the Master Suite, which was excellent. Although we were led to believe the hotel was half full, there was not many people at breakfast and there were only 2 other diners on Saturday night, so there was a lack of atmosphere in the dining room and bar areas. The dinner menu was restricted - not sure if this was because of the package or because of the lack of guests. Although not much choice, the food we had was fine.

Our stay at the Imperial hotel was good. The only thing I would say was there is some Improvement to be made for guests on evening meal. There was not a great deal of choice for dinner.Ifeel if you had the choice from the Bar menu this would have been much more to everyone taste.When I checked out the girl behind the desk did not ask if I enjoyed my stay. All other staff were polite especially the chap who showed us to our room.

This is a nice clean hotel in the centre of town. We booked this before we saw the comments on tripadvisor. After reading the reviews we nearly cancelled the booking. I am glad we didn't. The hotel staff were very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to help us a couple of times. The Indian menu has to be recommended (especially the Haggis Pakora!!!). The parking is limited so I guess this could be an issue in the summer. Overall good value for money and I would use this hotel again

Some members of staff were very helpful, especially Lorraine at the bar. Some members of staff had difficulty in understanding what was said to them, and vice verse. On the whole it is a very good hotel. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile for you. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Imperial Hotel Again.

Stayed here one night, The Hotel looked very nice. My room was very clean. The Hotel looked like it had been refurbished, everything looked new. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent. Location excellen (town centre). No lift in the Hotel. Stayed in 3 different Hotels while in Scotland, This was the best and the cheapest.

this hotel is in a great location many negitive coments have been written about this hotel, i decided to go and stay there anyway on arriving the staff were very polite the first room i was given i was not happy i told the staff about this while i had a drink they changed all my bags over to a new room that had a great view over the loch,the food is great with a indian twist. this is a family friendly hotel + dog friendly also

Rooms were excellent, very clean, and with tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Meals were delicious and service in the dining room excellent. All staff were friendly and efficient but a special thank you must go to Alok and Prashant who bent over backwards to ensure our stay was most enjoyable and memorable. We happened to mention it was my father's birthday and our dinner table was decorated with balloons and streamers - a fantasic surprise. All in all, a wonderful weekend and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. When I head back to Fort William I'll definately book in to the Imperial Hotel once more.

I travel around scotland, i found the imperial hotel fantastic value, i booked the excutive suite and it was to a level standard. The decor in the room was lovely and co-ordinated through -out. The bathroom suite included a jacuzzi bath .The hotel was easy to find,the staff were really friendly and courtious towards guests. The restaurant was lovely fresh fish and local produce. 100% satisfaction.
