BEDROOMS _ 8 / 10 SERVICE _ 9 / 10 FOOD _ 9 / 10 STAYED _ 15 Jul 2010 | Thomas Maguire said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: Stayed in the Murrayfield for two nights 15 & 16 July. Our room was in a modern extention located to the rear of the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was a comfortable king size. The room had all the facilities required for a short stay although some people might think there is a lack of wardrobe space for a longer stay. We were on a B&B rate and found the breakfast to be very good with ample choice and good availability. The hotel has ample parking and is located on a very good bus route to the city centre. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the Murrayfield. |

BEDROOMS _ 5 / 10 SERVICE _ 7 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 24 May 2010 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: Our room was in the Lodge which was separate from the Hotel, and the noise from other guests was very loud so much so that it kept us awake most of the nights. The room was quite basic but adequate, apart from there being no remote control for the tv and the kettle had to be held down to work. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast good. |

BEDROOMS _ 9 / 10 SERVICE _ 8 / 10 FOOD _ 0 / 10 STAYED _ 27 Feb 2010 | stephen campbell said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: We didn't go for breakfast so can't comment on the food. The room was lovely very comfy and spotless-no complaints. The only drawback was that there was alot of noise until 1am I think due to a function in the bar/lounge.It did stop at 1am but we could hear doors banging almost all of the time for some reason. It didn't spoil out stay and we would go back there. |

BEDROOMS _ 4 / 10 SERVICE _ 4 / 10 FOOD _ 4 / 10 STAYED _ 4 Dec 2009 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: although booking stated free room upgrade, rooms were nothing special. in one room light above washbasin in bathroom could not be switched off. Also only one light above one of the beds worked. Breakfast adequate but uninspiring. Hotel is on main bus route into E'burgh and buses are frequent.
4 mature females visited overnight for one night for theatre visit. |

BEDROOMS _ 7 / 10 SERVICE _ 9 / 10 FOOD _ 7 / 10 STAYED _ 10 Jul 2008 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: Great hotel and staff very friendly. Ideally situated in Edinburgh for both ease of finding off major roads and airport and also close to city centre. Great website for looking for accommodation and would recommend it to anyone |

BEDROOMS _ 9 / 10 SERVICE _ 8 / 10 FOOD _ 7 / 10 STAYED _ 20 May 2008 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: I enjoyed staying here, the only disadvantage being that it is rather far from the center of Edinburgh. There are plenty of busses into town, but it would be a bit far to walk. Otherwise, a nice place with good rooms, nicely furnished, flat-screen TV, etc.

BEDROOMS _ 7 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 13 Nov 2007 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was comfortable, clean and well furnished. The bathroom was well fitted, modern and clean as well. The bed was massive and very comfy. My partner and I both enjoyed all the breakfasts we had at the Murrayfield as the food was freshly cooked and well presented. We did have dinner in the bar one evening and it was cold in the middle, but this was the only fault we found. Its location is directly on a well served bus route to the city centre which we used every day. The buses are cheap and theres loads of them. When I go back to Edinburgh I'd be more than happy to stay here again. |

BEDROOMS _ 8 / 10 SERVICE _ 10 / 10 FOOD _ 9 / 10 STAYED _ 26 Sep 2007 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: My husband and I spent one night here at the end of August while in Edinburgh. The room was comfortable, and there was a full bar and restaurant on the main floor. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We had a 6:30 AM flight to catch the next morning - the man working at the front desk that morning opened the breakfast and served us at 4:45 AM with no complaints or attitude. Would definitely stay here again |

BEDROOMS _ 7 / 10 SERVICE _ 8 / 10 FOOD _ 8 / 10 STAYED _ 9 Aug 2007 | A guest said the following about Murrayfield Hotel: me and my boyfriend and a few of our friends stayed at this hotel one night this week whilst we were in edinburgh for the tattoo, we were very happy with this hotel, it is better than a 2 star, the rooms were large, clean, flat tv, hairdryer, iron etc and the bathroom was lovely, the only problem with our room was it was right on the main road so was very noisy in the morning.the breakfast was a full fry up and was great, the bar is also 24 hours and is not that expensive, there is also outside seating where we spent an hour or so having a drink i would definatly stay at this hotel again if i was in edinburgh, however it is further from the city centre than it claims, it took us 30 mins to walk to princes street but was a really nice walk and the hotel is in a lovely area |
