Carmarthen has many popular attractions nearby. The National Botanical Garden of Wales and the historic Aberglasney Gardens are well worth a visit, as well as the many majestic mediaeval castles, which dominate the landscape of West Wales. Pemberton's Chocolate Farm attracts those with a sweet tooth while the young at heart visit Oakwood Theme Park. Tenby, The Mumbles, Pembrokshire and Cardigan Bay are all within easy driving distances. You will not be short of things to see and do.

Continue from M4 (Junction 49) along A48 dual carriageway to roundabout on outskirts of Carmarthen. Go straight on to the next roundabout, then right. Straight on at next 2 roundabouts following brown signs for 'Spilman Street Hotels.' Keep to left lane going through the traffic lights you'll find the Ivy Bush Royal hotel is on the right.
From A40/A484/A485 travelling West
Follow signs for Carmarthen along dual carriageway by-pass, then towards town centre. Keep to the middle lane over bridge through traffic lights and the Ivy Bush Royal hotel is up the hill on the right.
