Each of the bedrooms at the Crown Hotel are haven been tastefully decorated in a country style and includes 51 bedrooms and suites and 2 cottages.
All of the classic bedrooms range from single, twin, double, triple and the family rooms feature bunk beds. Some rooms can also accommodate a z bed or cot if required.
Family Rooms
Family rooms at the Crown Hotel consist of bunk beds and the hotel has advised that the bunk beds are not suitable for children aged 11 years and over. When booking for families please contact Classic Britain 0845 1306 241 as children's rates only apply to 12 years and under at the Crown hotel. Children’s meals are taken from the kids menu. If the guests prefer we can do a half portion for children from the adult menu but this is priced accordingly as taken.
Executive bedrooms include a comfortable seating area with desk. A z-bed or cot can also be accommodated if required. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking the hotel gardens. Executive room features include coffee making machine, hair straighteners, DVD player and an Executive Pack which includes enhanced toiletries, slippers, dressing gown, chocolate bar & bottled water
The Four Poster bedrooms are feature a double four-poster bed. Four Poster Rooms at the Crown Hotel also feature the addition of the Executive Pack
Edenholme - Bridal Suite
Edenholme is the beautiful and spacious bridal suite overlooking the extensive gardens and features a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom, a lounge area with fireplace, 3D television and DVD player.
Warwickholme
The Warwickholme suite also overlooks the gardens and has a lounge area with flat screen television and bathroom with Jacuzzi

The Crown Hotels Conservatory restaurant offers its guests a delightful menu with a modern European twist and an exciting balance of flavours, richness, texture and colour using the best local ingredients presented simply and elegantly. Directions to the Crown Hotel in Wetheral near Carlisle
By Car
M6 North
Exit the M6 at Junction 42. At the roundabout at the top of the slip road, take the third exit, the B6263, signed Wetheral.
Stay on this road for about two miles, passing through Cumwhinton, until you reach Wetheral.
Just after the village green, turn right by the general store. Take the next turn into the Crown hotels car park
M6 South
Leave M6 at Junction 43. At the end of the road take the A69 towards Brampton and Newcastle.
After about three quarters of a mile, turn right onto the B6263 to Wetheral. Once in the village, turn left at the village store, before the village green. Take next left into the Crown hotel car park.
Rail
The Crown Hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Wetheral train station, which is on the Main Carlisle - Newcastle Line. Transport from Carlisle Station can be arranged with prior notification.
Bus
The Hotel is situated just around the corner from the local bus route which runs on an hourly basis to and from Carlisle.
All guests on dinner inclusive packages can select from the items marked on the menu and also have the option to choose from the other dishes with a small supplement.

The Conservatory restaurant can get very busy at weekends and we recommend that you make a reservation for dinner. If you are staying over a weekend, the hotel may contact you to arrange dinner times.
The hotel often hosts Functions/Weddings/Party Nights at weekends and the noise can affect some rooms. The entertainment finishes at 1:00am. We will always try to allocate rooms away from the functions to minimize any noise disturbance, however this may not always be possible when the hotel is busy. If you wish to discuss this further then please contact the hotel direct.
Best Room Available - you will be allocated the best available room on check in. Please note that a superior room is not guaranteed, unless you have opted to pay the supplement for a guaranteed upgrade
Guests planning to bring a dog during their stay must advise the hotel at the time of booking as we have a limited number of rooms which have been designated as pet friendly, there is also a charge of £10.00 per dog per night.
