The Hotel Du Vin in Poole was originally built in 1776 as the “Mansion House” and has been lovingly refurbished to the boutique hotel that you see today. The interiors have been designed to reflect its nautical past, keeping original decorative features, whilst adding typical Hotel du Vin panache. This impressive Georgian style building has 38 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, lovingly converted into a luxury hotel that retains many of the building’s charming period features.

All of the hotel rooms in Poole feature the most comfortable handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths for relaxing and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs and air conditioning. Each room comes with all the little luxuries that you'd expect and are creatively styled with warm colours and texture.

Classic Double
Our classic rooms are individually designed and feature queen-sized beds, en-suite with shower, a writing desk and seating.

Deluxe Double
Offering more space than the Classic Rooms, our Deluxe rooms are unique in design, some with inside closed bathrooms and some open plan. Features include a comfortable super king size bed, roll-top baths (or shower over bath in some rooms) and walk-in showers.

BY ROAD
From M27 junction 1, follow A31 to Wimborne and then A349 into Poole town centre, follow signs to the Port (A350). Continue on towards the Quay, before Poole Bridge, turn left onto Poole Quay. Take the first turning left onto Thames Street.

PARKING
We have very limited car parking onsite which is on a first come first served basis, we are unable to reserve spaces in advance. We do guarantee residents a parking space during their stay as we have access to two multi-storey car parks, Quay Visitors, which is on Strand Street, Poole, BH15 1SB and High Street Shops which is on Hill Street, Poole, BH15 1NR. Both are less than a five minutes stroll from the hotel.

Guests to pay and display at the machine in the offsite car park.

Guests are more than welcome to drop their luggage at the Hotel before parking their car.

There is a £10.00 charge overnight for parking onsite and charges apply for the above car parks.

**Car parking spaces are not secure and vehicles and their contents left in the car parking facility are at the owner’s sole risk in all respects.

The medieval port town of Poole is situated next to the sea and is full of tourist attractions and activities, such as its famous pottery and National Trust sites including the beautiful Brownsea Island.

These appealing sights also include Poole Harbour and the Sandbanks peninsula, with excellent facilities for boating and water sports - including both windsurfing and jet skiing, a number of highly-acclaimed restaurants and cafés and historic 18-century buildings.

Poole is also one of the most popular areas in the south-west of England for fishing, deep-sea fishing, and coastal walking along the stunning Jurassic Coast. Set just back from the Quayside is the High Street, where a plethora of shopping opportunities present themselves. The Lighthouse Centre for the Arts is a fantastic venue for music acts, Comedians and top dance and drama productions. The Poole Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is also to be found on the High Street.

THE BEACHES
Dorset beaches are amongst some of the finest in England and are often referred to as the 'Florida Keys of British beaches'. There are more than 5 km / 3 miles of golden beaches in Poole, and these are popular with both tourists and locals in the area. Poole Quay is one of the most vibrant areas in the town and has an exciting, friendly vibe. Attractions at the Quay include numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and public houses.
