Andrew Simpson "the Boss"

Founder of Classic Scotland in 1996, with over 34 years in the hotel and hospitality industry. 9 years in Hotel Management, with 2 years as General Manager with some of the UK's major chains. 25 years in Tourism promoting Scotland and the UK as a Tourism destination, and working closely with the independently owned hotel sector.

Raymond McMillan – Product Manager

Brings to Classic a wealth of experience from the Tour Operator & Airline fields, having worked and headed some of Scotland's most well known holiday companies – Raymond's role is the development of our website, seeking out good value product and looking after Classic's hotel membership.
Beverly Smith - Travel Trade Sales Manager

Has had over 25 years in the sales sector, although she doesn't care to dwell on it for too long! Has been with Classic promoting to the group market both at home and from abroad for over three years" Every day's a challenge, as you don't know what lies around the corner". She finds the tourism industry an eye opening experience, once you're in it you don't want to get out!
Richard Speirs – Accounts Controller

The number cruncher, and been with Classic since 2002. He has implemented a bespoke state of the art IT system within reservations and accounts. Richard deals with all account and IT issues.
Anne Marie Fraser – Accounts & Rooming Lists

One of classic's longest serving members of staff and is the Organiser in the office, with her calming influence. She has over the years worked in most departments although not the fire one. Anne Marie probably knows how the business ticks more than anyone else. Her key role is purchase ledger and rooming lists. " I like everything filed away, keeping my desk tidy, as well as having a laugh"
Pamela Low – Reservations & Web Maintenance

Since leaving school , Pamela has always had an eye for Tourism, with experience in Tour Guiding as well as a hotel receptionist for over 2 years. Pamela has been with Classic for approximately 4 years, and her main roles are in reservations, web maintenance and liaising with hotels. The best thing she likes about her job " I work with a great team and everyday brings something different"
Katie Simpson – Reservations
After over 3 years with Classic Katie has decided to take a year out and travel the world. She is currently working as a Front of House Manager with one of the main hotels in the Northern Territory of Australia. We look forward to welcoming her back to the fray in 2011".
Pam Thomson - Reservations

After graduating from College with an HND in Hospitality Management Pam continued her studies in America taking part in a Cultural Representive College Program with Walt Disney. Afterwards working for Thomson Holidays (TUI) in France and assumed the role of Front of House Assistant Duty Manager. Pam essentially deals with group bookings and special interest holidays. Pam has worked for over 14 years in the hospitality industry and continues to enjoy it.
Sibylline Lambert - Reservations

Sibylline spent a number of years in the USA and has previously worked in the hotel industry for Hilton. Much of Sibylline's time is spent developing Classic's growing number of overseas visitors. Sibylline loves working with Classic, she has been with Classic for over 3 years, as it gives her some escape time from the kids..
Rebekkah Howat - Reservations

Rebekkah deals with most of the telephone enquiries and bookings. She has never having worked in the tourism industry before, she is thoroughly enjoying it and is learning new things every day. She likes a good chat on the phone!!
Mark Simpson - Reservations

Mark is our newest recruit and has been thrown in at the deep end - producing the new groups brochure. Marks' background is in the insurance industry where he handled customer service issues.
